East-West in Capitola

“Carl Ray and CRay Construction completely renovated our Capitola condominium in 2005. Condos, with all their rules and regulations, make for a tricky construction site, especially when you take the space down to the studs and beams. However, Carl rose to the occasion, abided by the rules and created a gorgeous living space for my husband and myself.

In the beginning, before a hammer was lifted, Carl spent time just asking me questions and listening intently to my answers as he tried to visualize my dream. But, he went one step further. One day he invited me to meet him at a large bookstore and took me into the architecture, and interior design portion of the store. There, together we poured over pictures of styles and creative spaces. All this so that he could be sure that he grasped my vision. It worked and he did. Despite the fact that the plan changed and evolved along the way, Carl remained steadfast and offered very valuable suggestions, many of which live beautifully in our home to this day.

Anyone who is able to work with Carl Ray should consider themselves fortunate indeed. We certainly do and are so thankful that we put our largest asset into Carl's capable hands.
